MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Porcelain Pink Review & Swatches

My love of a good highlighter will never die and the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Porcelain Pink doesn't disappoint. This gorgeous soft pinky coral with gold veining looks amazing on the cheeks for a gorgeous glow or all over the face for a shimmery polished look. I'm not sure why I love products like this so much, but that moment when you take a photo and the light hits your cheeks perfectly and glows might just be it. This products retails for $28 and is available at MAC in store and online. I would definitely pick this up if you love a good highlighter. I really don't have anything like it my collection. Most of my highlights are champagne colored, which is what drew me to this pink color in the first place.

Have you ever tried MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes?

Become A Bronze Goddess With The Balm's Betty-Lou Manizer

I picked up this beauty during my TJ Maxx run the other night. I've been eyeing it for a few months trying to contain myself from purchasing yet another bronzer. If it's one thing I don't need in my cosmetic collection, it's bronzer. It may just be the product I have the most of. I was intrigued by this bronzer because it seemed like the perfect, bronze-y kind of Jennifer Lopez glow. I'm also obsessed  in love with luminizer, so this seemed like a great combo.

I'm so glad I decided to pick this up. It's gorgeous on the cheeks (very pigmented & heavy though--so only use a small amount. Gently tap your brush in the pan) and even stunning on the eyes. Another must have in your collection. I'm pretty sure I only paid $15.99 for this baby. That's a steal! You pay that for some drug-store brand bronzers. Don't miss out on this one. You can still purchase it at Sephora for $24 or find it at your local TJ Maxx for $15.99.

Be Guilt-Free With Josie Maran's New Fall 2011 Collection -- Part 2

Josie Maran Mascara: I have Josie's other mascara, which kept my lashes very soft & natural. This mascara gave me dramatic, full lashes. It extended my lashes out and I could feel that it was also conditioning them. It took my lashes to another level.  Retail is $22.

(Disclosure: All products seen above for sent for consideration)

Argan Oil Brow Marker + Powder Duo: I love the color of this product and it's also versatile. It fills the brows very easily and has powder. Together, it makes for the perfect natural brow. Josie's tip is to use the marker to fill any sparse areas and then use the powder to shape to your desire. Retail is $27.

Lastly, I have the REM 2-1 Argan Eye Shadow & Gel Liner in two shades: Purple & Brown. The REM pens are really fun and easy to use. It took a minute or so to get used to taking off the cap and dipping it in and then taking the eyeshadow on the other end and using it. I eventually got in the groove of things and I'm excited to try some new looks with this product. Retail is $32.

So you take off the bottom and then dip the brush in here to use the liner.

The Brown REM pen is my favorite. I love the almost taupe like brown color of the liner as well as the matte shadow. Perfect for a natural eye with a pop of winged eyeliner.

I definitely recommend Josie Maran products to anyone looking for anything new that works. It's a great line with many products that work for everyone. I love that they have no limits on who can use it and that it infuses skin care with coverage. What more could you want? All products are available for purchase at Josie Maran or Sephora.

Be Guilt-Free With Josie Maran's New Fall 2011 Collection -- Part 1

I've never been into the whole ingredients aspect of a cosmetic brand. Then I discovered Josie Maran. Josie Maran's line makes me curious what it would be like to go completely natural and leave all my favorite brands behind me. She been successful at taking a natural brand and turning it into a highly pigmented, luxury brand. I recently announced her launch of the new Fall 2011 collection and I'm ecstatic to be able to share it with you. Here is the post about the launch itself.

(Disclosure: Products received above were sent for consideration)

I was very excited about this launch for a few reasons. My top three reasons were the gorgeous packaging, the nicely pigmented products and products that I've never seen done before. Let's take a closer look:

Argan Oil: This is my second time receiving Argan Oil and it still as amazing as the first time I used it. I can definitely see a huge difference in my skin: overall texture, no spots/scars, glowing, and hydrated. I get insanely dry skin on my face in the winter, so I'll be curious to see how this product performs during the cold months.  Retail is 1.7 oz for  $48.

Argan llluminizer: I have been wanting this product since I first laid eyes on it. It's an absolutely gorgeous luminizer. I'm a little obsessed and to be honest, I've been wearing it all week. It's a golden shimmer highlight. It's the perfect shade for all skin tones and a little goes a long way. Retail is $28.

Argan Beautiful Eyes: This palette is wrapped in gorgeous packaging and the set up is stunning. All they eye-shadows apply very smoothly. I love that it includes 4 eye-shadows and a liner. Woo hoo. I received this in Beautiful Nude. Retail is $36.

The first color is the liner that's seen in the middle of the palette followed by the eye shadows from left to right.

Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain: I've not a fan of lip stains, but I'm always surprised by how much people love them. I adored the color of this one--it's a bold, long wearing pink! I definitely think I need to do a look to match up with it. Retail is $19.
