I was invited to attend the prestigious international event, Fashion & Beauty Week, that combines fashion/beauty with awareness. There were gorgeous runway shows, delicious food, cocktails, wine tasting, a beauty bar, a silent auction, and more. We were whisked away in a blue limo (seriously) and given the all-star treatment. This event is open to the public and attendees are invited to meet people from all walks of life from fashion designers to beauty editors and even actors. The mission of the event? To raise awareness and money for the Diabetes Research Institute.
The event took place in the gorgeous Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ. Designers featured were Ari, Bound + Tide, Dolce Vita, Devon Thomas, Monique Lhuillier, Teresa Rosati, Theia, Jay Godfrey, Jensen Martin, Marisa Kenson, Pamela Dennis, Sandra Baquero, Esposito and William Rast.
I attended the event with a few of my favorite bloggers and little did we know the fun and excitement that was in store for us.

They also had this amazing booth from shutterbooth.com with fun props like masks, mustaches and lips. We were kind of obsessed. We kept coming back to take more pictures.

Fashion & Beauty Week turned out to be an amazing event for an amazing cause.
